Fire benefits the most from this, and I believe life and death use the same mount/pet as fire since the fire 2 piece gives fire damage and universal damage.Usually its good to have a main talent focus on a pet. I also would probably recommend a pet with a blade item card. For an ice maybe a good pet for you would be a "triple double". Two resist talents, and 3 damage talents. Yea maybe might get a gem for that because I needed more defense during my quest line.
