The other brand dealership is 30 - 40 miles from me. My tractor is no longer new, I have had o issues with the tractor, a few minor issues with attachments. If you main use is going to be loading stuff you may want to look at a little larger tractor. Lift hight might be an issue with the 1025.It might be the 3025E is Hydrostatic drive and the 3025D is 8 speed manual. There are a few other differences in terms of PTO HP that won't matter that much to me. If that is the only difference I think I will still be leaning toward the 3025E unless something changes and causes the 2025R to win out.I'm surrounded by 14 John Deere dealers. The one closest to me has a new 5115M with a loader sitting on the lot. All of them have an assortment of the E series which appears more popular. The M & R tractors have a mid frame which I'm thinking would make it a better loader tractor. I have the premium PFC hydraulics on my larger John Deere.

If you had a live PTO you'd be able to depress the clutch and the PTO would continue to spin (most live PTO systems use a 2-stage clutch. Half way stops the transmission and keeps the PTO going.
